grandma’s pantry

We started cooking seriously the day we realised ingredients actually matter.

Most of us grew up with a pantry that just had things in it – jars that lasted forever, supermarket staples that got the job done. But somewhere along the way, we started cooking with more intention. We wanted flavour that was actually there. Spices that smelled like something. Flours that worked the way they were supposed to.

That’s exactly why Grandma’s Pantry exists. We’re Chantelle and Andy, and when we took on this business, we didn’t just see a shop. We saw a pantry that had already earned the trust of thousands of Australian home cooks. We saw something worth continuing and worth doing even better.

Our job isn’t to be the hero of your kitchen. You already are. We’re just here to make sure your pantry is ready for whatever you’re about to cook.

ABOUT US

A better pantry. Built for cooks who take it seriously.

Grandma’s Pantry Online has been part of the Australian home cooking community for years, trusted by Thermomix lovers, gluten-free bakers, Christmas cake makers, and everyday cooks who simply want the real thing.

We stock herbs and spices in sizes that make sense. Flours and baking essentials you can actually get through before they go stale. Specialty ingredients that your cookbook calls for and your supermarket doesn’t stock.

We’re based in Brisbane’s beautiful Northside, and we pack every order ourselves with care. No warehouse conveyor belt. No mystery ingredients. Just quality products, clear labelling, and a team that genuinely loves what they do.

We believe the best meals start long before you turn the stove on. They start with a pantry you can trust. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to and it’s the promise behind everything we do.

She went by different names. But you knew exactly who she was.

Maybe she was your Grandma – flour on her apron, never measuring anything, always getting it right.

Or your Ouma – bobotie in the oven and rusks in the tin. A kitchen that always smelled like something worth staying for.

Your Nonna, who could turn five pantry staples into a Sunday lunch that fed twelve and still had leftovers. Your Yaya, whose spanakopita recipe exists nowhere in writing but lives perfectly in your memory. Your Lola, your Bà Nội, your Nani – the woman who taught you that food is never just food.

She is every culture, every kitchen, every language. She is the reason so many of us cook with intention – because we watched someone do it first. With love. With patience. With a pantry that was always, somehow, stocked with exactly the right thing.

That’s what Grandma’s Pantry is named for. Not a single grandmother, but all of them. The ones we remember, the ones we’re still lucky enough to call, and the ones whose recipes we’re still trying to get right.

Whoever your grandma figure is, this pantry is for her, and for every meal you make in her honour.
